Stanza

Defintion: a group of lines in a poem

Example:  "I ask them to take a poem
and hold it up to the light
like a color slide"  

Significance: a stanza helps seperate the movement of the poem and it sometimes help the ryhmiong stand out more. It makes poetry better because it makes it that more people can understand what the poem means.
